This cocktail perfectly showcases the four simple ingredients – bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and fresh lemon juice.
Amaro is a pretty wide spectrum. There are variants in the middle of the spectrum which are fairly close in proximity, but I wouldn't put Cynar or Nonino in the middle. Nonino is lighter and fairly delicate.
