It varies how far along you were. For me, it took 5 weeks after the methotrexate for my hcg lvl to be back down to 0. My hcg was around 715 when I was diagnosed as ectopic. Around week 3, my doctor almost suggested a 2nd shot because it was going down real slow.. Qvat
